  • Best Car I have ever owned!

I purchased a 2014 Impala LT in November 2013. Great ride, plenty of power (V6), excellent fuel economy (28-31). Still get compliments every week on this car. Huge trunk, fits four sets of golf clubs, and easily 5 adults. No maintenance problems whatsoever. One minor factory fix on a tail like leak. This car is super quiet , comfortable. Still have factory tires at 43K. Will change them soon as they are starting to get a little noisy. Plenty of leg room in back for passengers. Handling is great in wind, but marginal in snow.

We have owned this car for two months now. We have taken it on several short highway trips of about 100 miles round trip and really enjoyed driving it. Last weekend we took it on a getaway and drove about 350 miles each way. We have always owned comfortable cars. (Olds 98s, Grand Marquis, GMC Crew Cab, etc.) This car is more comfortable than any of the others. At the end of our trip we could not believe how good we felt. No ride fatigue at all! The ride of the Impala is incredibly smooth and quiet. Really like the blind spot warning. The seats are very comfortable and adjust easily to my 6 feet 3 inch frame as well as to my wifes 5 feet 2 inches. This is the first car I have ever driven in which I did not have to put the drivers seat all the way back to drive it. There is also great room in the back seat and the trunk is larger than would be expected. I cant say enough about this vehicle.
  • Good value in a full-size model

We usually buy Fords, but decided to try the 2018 Impala this time. We like the roomy interior, although the rear seat headroom is compromised by the stylists decision to have a fastback-style roofline. Good power from the V6 engine. We average about 24 mpg in overall city/highway driving. Have gotten as much as 29 mpg on the highway. The trunk is fairly large, although loading bigger items is difficult because of the small deck lid opening, again due to the fastback styling. Great sound system, and many useful interior features. We live in an area that is quite warm during the summer and wanted a light colored interior. Unfortunately, the Impala interiors only come in black, dark gray or a garish-looking tan and black two-tone. There should be a beige or light gray offered without all the black accents. Front end styling is great-looking, but the back end is uninspired. Looks like it belongs on a Hyundai, not an Impala. Overall, we like the car. It has some areas that disappointed us, but seems to be a quality car that will serve us well. Time will tell.
